As Valentine’s Day draws near, everyone is looking for creative ways to wine and dine their sweethearts. Here’s three ideas that will capture your heart.

What could be more romantic than sharing a charcuterie board paired with a bottle of wine with your significant other? Jennifer Phelps at Beautifully Charcuterie says she hopes to inspire people to celebrate Valentine’s Day a little differently this year, by adding meat and cheese to their flowers.

Beautifully Charcuterie first operated as a luxury picnic business upon opening in June, 2022. The Ithaca storefront location has been operating since November, 2023. Beautifully Charcuterie offers an array of charcuterie boards for all your catering needs, or for lunch on the go. This Valentine’s Day, Phelps is introducing a new item to her menu; the love bouquet. This charcuterie bouquet is customizable, comes in three different sizes, and is available to pre order at Beautifully Charcuterie’s website all throughout February.

The Bistro at La Tourelle is hosting a Valentine’s Day dinner and wine pairing featuring Damiani Wine Cellars this Wednesday at 6 p.m. This five course meal offers seafood, short rib, and a special dessert on the menu to end the night on a sweet note. Guests will have the option to add on chocolate covered strawberries and keepsake wine glasses to enhance their dining experience. Reservations are required and tickets for this event can be pre ordered online.

If you are looking for an economical way to celebrate, a heart shaped pizza for two can be just as romantic. From February 5 through the 14, heart shaped pizzas will be available to order with any special topping of your choice.

Whichever way you choose to celebrate, each of these ideas will not only be delectable, but will taste like love.
